About this product:

HEALING THE FIVE ELEMENTS

AS WE HEAL OURSELVES, WE HEAL OUR PLANET

Our thoughts are a subtle and powerful form of energy that comes from the awareness we hold of ourselves. Each one ripples out into the universal matrix of energy, changing it in some way according to its quality and conviction. In
this way we each carry a responsibility for both the well-being of ourselves and our planet.
Through the integration of the five ‘elements’ of traditional Chinese medicine and Raja Yoga meditation, this book shows a new way to rebalance body, soul and planet by tuning in with the five elements – wood, fire, earth, metal and water – and the turning seasons of our lives which they also represent.
This is the key we can all possess to healing our relationship with the elements, both internally within the body and, externally in the outer world in which we all live.

“To those who seek alternative ways of understanding the universe, the interconnectedness between body, mind, spirit, the natural world and the divine, and the effect these all have on the way we think, feel and act, this book
acts as a fascinating guide.”
Arnold Desser BA (Hons), CAc (China), PGCert MedEd Scientific and Medical Advisor, The Janki Foundation For Spiritual in Healthcare NHS Primary Care practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine.

“The book is also a call to action. As we learn to reconnect with our inner natural resources, it becomes clear that we have both a responsibility and a duty to care for the larger natural systems in which we exist.”
Dr. Joanna Kitto, UK Co-ordinator for the Brahma Kumaris Environment Initiative. A fascinating insight into the world of Chinese medicine.

“And the importance of taking individual responsibility for our lives” Mark Stone Investment Director

About the author: Helen Wall

Inspired by a longstanding keen interest in using natural methods of healing and helping others to regain their health, Helen Wall studied Five Elements acupuncture at the College of Traditional Acupuncture UK in the early 1980s, and she has continued to practise ever since. In 1990, her ongoing journey towards a holistic approach to health led her to study Raja Yoga meditation with the Brahma Kumaris. This provided an ocean of inspiration regarding how, through switching to a higher consciousness, it is possible to heal ourselves at deeply spiritual, emotional and mental levels and at the same time also help heal our environment and our planet. To this day, she continues to study and to facilitate courses in Raja Yoga meditation, positive thinking and self-esteem, whilst also running her acupuncture practice.

  1. Sabrina Sguberti

“Like in an impressionist painting, every line of the book is a stroke that contributes to give life to the colourful and diverse world of the 5 elements. With delicious simplicity, the author, Helen Wall, integrates the ancient knowledge and practice of Chinese medicine, with the spiritual understanding of Raja Yoga. Especially noteworthy is the invitation to experiment with different tools that explore the interaction between mind and matter, elements and emotions, qualities and their resonance. The final result is a vision of how our bodies, our relationships and the world that surrounds us function with great depth, complexity and interrelation.”
